Foreign residents association afpop is continuing its collaboration with the University of the Algarve with the creation of a course for foreigners, entitled ‘Discover Portugal’.
The course, which begins on Thursday, March 31 and runs for 13 weeks, will introduce many areas of Portugal, its people, history, culture and gastronomy to foreigners who have chosen to make Portugal their home.
Each session will last for approximately two hours and will include visits to various places of interest, as well as time spent in the university campus. The course will be held in English and there will be a certificate of completion awarded at the end of the course.
The cost for the course is €295 and it will be based in the university campus at Gambelas, near Faro airport.
