Walks under the full moon are taking place in the Portimão council on August 22 and September 20.
Organised by the municipal authority, the night walks are aimed at residents and tourists alike, who are keen to explore the beauty of Portimão’s coastal areas literally in a different light.
The first walk, on August 22, took the route from Barranco das Canas beach, also known as Alemão beach, to Três Castelos beach.
The second moonlit walk, on September 20, will be along the Alvor boardwalk, with walkers guided by a team of biologists from Portimão Câmara.
Walks are free to attend but limited to 30 participants. Registration must be done via 282 480 412 or email [email protected]
