Described as the “world’s most extravagant dining experience”, the Dinner in the Sky event is returning to Quinta do Lago on August 5 and 6 (Saturday-Sunday).
Held for the first time last year, the event gives brave people an opportunity to enjoy cocktails, a sunset snack and dinner, as well as fantastic views of the Quinta do Lago lake and Ria Formosa, while sitting at a “flying table” 40 metres from the ground.
It begins with three sessions of ‘Cocktails in the Sky’ at 5pm, 6.05pm and 7.10pm, featuring “three-award winning cocktails and food pairing by the Bovino Steakhouse”. Price is €120 per person.
At 8.15pm, the flying table will be used for a ‘Sunset in the Sky’ party, with cocktails, food pairing by Casa do Lago and even live music. Tickets cost €150.
Later at 9.30pm, daring foodies will be able to enjoy a ‘Dinner in the Sky’ including a five-course meal with wine pairing and live music, costing €300.
