Animal lovers attended a dinner dance at Restaurant O Caseiro in Arão on March 19 to raise money for the Association for the Protection of Animals in the Algarve (APAA).
Colin Burgess provided the musical entertainment for free, playing a selection of saxophone numbers while the guests enjoyed their meal.
He then picked up his guitar to play some lively tunes for the guests to take to the dance floor.
The organisers of the event would like to thank everyone who donated raffle prizes for the evening, including Sara Laine hairdressers, Sto António Bowls Club and Heather Stock.
The event raised around €250 which will be placed into a savings fund and then used to help pay for a new APAA rescue centre for animals in the Algarve.
