Members and guests of Carvoeiro-based CASA Social Club enjoyed dinner last month at Do Cais restaurant in the Portimão Clube Naval.
The evening started with a pre-dinner drink out on the terrace with its fine view of the river and a welcome breeze. Chef Inácio served roast lamb or fish freshly caught locally. The food was “delicious as always” and the wine was “plentiful”.
The club does not hold an event in August but will be making up for this with two in September, the first a lunch in Vale da Parra-Galé on September 16, followed by an afternoon of mini-golf on September 27.
