REHEARSALS ARE well underway for the Algarveans’ annual pantomime production. In 2006, the less known but equally traditional pantomime Dick Turpin has been chosen to entertain and delight children of all ages.
The colourful blend of music, dance and comedy will be with theatregoers in Lagos on February 16, 17 and 18, with a matinee on the Saturday as well as an evening performance.
It is hoped that the following week will see Dick Turpin in the new auditorium in Lagoa, but confirmation can only be expected in January. The Algarveans will keep everyone informed as soon as they know – at the moment, it’s still a little ‘Oh yes we will, oh no we won’t’.
