A street party to celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, attended by both residents and holidaymakers, was held at the Oasis Parque in Chão das Donas, Portimão, on Monday last week. Around 60 guests enjoyed the festivities in the Algarve sunshine.
The lunch menu included coronation chicken prepared to the actual recipe used at the Queen’s coronation in 1952.
A Jubilee cake was made especially for the occasion.
