DGS discounts need for Covid booster shots for children

Portugal’s DGS health authority has updated its orientation for the country’s Covid vaccination campaign to exclude, “for now” the need for booster shots for children. Pediatrician Paula Vara Luiz has told SIC this is “adequate” bearing in mind the “current reality of the pandemic in Portugal”. Portugal is one of the most ‘vaccinated countries in the world’ with regard to Covid shots, with almost 90% of the population immunised, adds SIC.
