Olhão Câmara is looking for a developer to build a major tourist project in the council, representing an investment of €200 million and 500 new jobs.
The development project, Núcleo de Desenvolvimento Turístico, would include up to 1,170 tourist beds in an area away from urbanised hubs and 500 metres from the coastline.
A public tender to find a developer was launched on February 27 and those interested in knowing more about the Núcleo de Desenvolvimento Turístico have 90 days from that date to consult the plans at the Câmara and submit proposals.
