Stylish “pretty lady” steps into Madeleine investigation

Detective || Stylish “pretty lady” steps into Madeleine investigation

A few days late perhaps, but Nicola Wall – the stylish Detective Chief Inspector taking over where Andy Redwood has left off – finally arrived in Faro this morning (pictured here with Redwood), to listen to ongoing developments in the Madeleine inquiry.
Wall’s appointment – from the Met’s Homicide and Major Crime Command – comes as the three-year inquiry has spent over £10 million of British taxpayers’ money attempting, once and for all, to crack the most famous missing person’s case the world has ever known.
Interviewed with other police women in Vogue last year, Wall was described a “diminutive peroxide blonde with fine cheekbones and a faint Derbyshire accent”.
The report described her as a woman who enjoyed “playing with her femininity if only to stir up the stuffier factions of the Met”.
What remains to be seen now is whether she can dive into the soup of this long-running investigation and stir up a solution.
