PGA European Tour 2012 Rookie of the Year Ricardo Santos is continuing his brilliant start to the new season in the Middle East.
The 30-year-old Portuguese No1 from Faro followed his fourth and 22nd places in Abu Dhabi and Qatar respectively with a seventh place at the Dubai Desert Classic. Santos carded rounds of 66, 71 and 69 before checking out with a joint best final day score of 67 to sit just seven strokes behind overall winner Stephen Gallacher.
The high-flying Oceanico Victoria Golf Club pro is next in action at this weekend’s Joburg Open in South Africa.
