Algarve FIM Cross Country Rally World Championship revelation Ruben Faria followed his good effort during the inaugural 2012 season Abu Dhabi Desert Challenge round with a superb fourth place overall in Qatar last weekend. The 32-year-old KTM rider improved from an opening day penalized 32nd placing into fifth and ultimately fourth behind winner Marc Coma to claim second to the same Spanish rival in the latest World Championship standings. Fellow Portuguese Paulo Gonçalves (Husqvarna) and Helder Rodrigues (Yamaha) hold fourth and fifth places.
