Suspected terrorists arrested

Danish police have arrested nine men overnight over an alleged terror plot in the country’s third largest city of Odense. The suspects, thought to be between the ages of 18 and 33, had been under surveillance for some time in the suburb of Vollsmose and were detained on suspicion of planning terrorist acts. Lars Findsen, the head of the Danish Security Intelligence Service said that the suspects had acquired materials to build explosives, but did not reveal whether there was a specific target. He maintained that Denmark would not be raising its terror alert as a result of this.
