Music || Female trio Dell’Acqua Trio will be performing this Thursday (September 4) starting at 7.30pm at Silves Castle, as one of the acts of the small town’s new summertime initiative ‘Sunset Secrets’.
Aiming to create a “relaxing and intimate atmosphere” for its visitors, the event takes place every Thursday from 6.30pm to 11pm.
Evenings begin with the offer of relaxing massages by masseuse Lúcia Guerreiro, followed by musical performances at 7.30pm.
During the concert intervals, there are gastronomic demonstrations by Café Castelo de Silves, while the Algarve Wine Route team will showcase the best produce the municipality has to offer with “innovative” twists.
Oriental belly dancing by Mónica Pereira, who uses fire in her special performances, brings the evenings to their close.
Following Dell’ Acqua, there will still be two more trio events – on September 11, with the Eduardo Ramos Trio, and on September 18, with local Algarve world/jazz trio Descaroçados.
Tickets cost €5 for the general public, €4 for members of groups of more than 20 people, and €2 for Silves residents.
