Luxury resort celebrates Easter with brunches, lunch and DIY pizza course for kids
Quinta do Lago resort in the Algarve is promising a mouth-watering and fun-filled Easter programme with several gastronomic events and fun activities for all ages.
The resort’s Bovino SteakHouse will serve an Easter brunch every day until Sunday (April 17) from 12 noon to 3pm, featuring a “fiery barbecue of exquisite steaks, burgers and fish, plus fresh salads, tasty sides and indulgent desserts”. There will also be live music. Price is €70 per adult (no drinks included) and €35 for children up to 12 years old. The brunch is free for children up to the age of four.
An à la carte Easter lunch is also planned at Casa do Lago restaurant, where guests will be able to enjoy a delicious meal whilst enjoying live music and a wonderful lake view.
There is also a gastronomic event planned for the resort’s younger visitors, who will be given an opportunity to test their pizzaiolo skills at a ‘DIY Pizza’ at Quinta do Lago’s Koko restaurant between 11am and 12.30pm. Children will be invited to “get their fingers deep in some dough and create their own delicious pizza” and cook it in the restaurant’s stone oven. All participants aged five to 12 will receive a pizzaiolo kit, a mini apron and juice or water for €15 each.
Also planned is a Family Day at The Shack on Friday, where families will be able to enjoy “delicious food, cocktails and live music” from noon to 6pm.
Several other activities are also planned in celebration of Easter.
Between April 18 and 22, a wide variety of sports camps for youngsters are planned at The Campus, from football to tennis and golf.
In partnership with Football Escapes, the football camps will aim to provide the “ultimate football training experience for the young fans aged five to 15”. Each child will receive a week’s worth of coaching on the world-class football pitch at The Campus, as well as a full kit, signed certificate and a medal upon completion of the course.
The junior tennis camp will aim to give young tennis players the opportunity to learn and have fun on the pro courts at The Campus, while the golf camps will see young golfers, aged six to 14, develop their skills, learn from the pros and have fun in a safe, inclusive environment.
