The classic group, who were at the forefront of the heavy rock explosion in the late 60s and 70s, along with groups like Led Zeppelin, are best known for hits like Smoke on the Water and Highway Star. They will be the headline act performing on Saturday, July 22.

Also confirmed to perform at the event this year is another British band, The Alan Parsons Project, who will play on Friday, July 21. Portuguese bands such as Xutos e Pontapés and Iris, along with jazz artists Big Band, complete the line-up.

This year is the 25th anniversary of the festival and organisers are expecting around 30,000 participants. Rock on!
