Silves Câmara has not yet decided on whether to accept a proposal made by the Fábrica do Inglês, a cultural and recreational facility near Silves castle, which is undergoing financial difficulty.
A spokesman from Silves Câmara told the Algarve Resident that the case has been passed on for legal analysis before a decision is made.
Fábrica do Inglês has requested that the Câmara make payments that will keep the facility running for the next six months.
