According to Correio da Manhã, state payments in arrears for more than 90 days rose by €140 million in the first two months of 2014. Citing data from UTAO (the technical unit of budget support), the country is now €1.98 billion in arrears. UTAO is reported as saying this increase is “significantly greater” to the final debt total for 2013.
