Daredevil granny

British resident Dawn Goodfellow took a leap of faith on November 8 as she completed her first skydive for charity at Alvor airfield.

The 78-year old great grandmother from Vale del Rei near Carvoeiro raised around 300 Euros for the Bombeiros, which has been added to the ongoing Vale do Milho golf club

charity fund.

Dawn Goodfellow told the Algarve Resident: “I will be 79 next month and this goes to show that you are never too old to try something new!”

Dawn Goodfellow is the grandmother of our journalist Daisy Sampson. She said: “We are all so proud of Gran and I hope she will continue to grow old disgracefully!  She really is a super Gran and we can´t wait to see what she will do next.”
