Tavira Câmara has launched a public tender for works to improve road safety along the Vale da Murta bend, which currently poses a risk to drivers due to a slumped section.
The EM397 road in the Santa Maria parish requires urgent intervention in order to ensure the safety of users.
The road project represents an investment of €35,000 and is expected to be concluded within two months. The deadline to submit tenders is June 11.
The Câmara warns drivers to take care when using the road and to take heed of warning signs.
