For the first time, the finals of the Dance World Cup will be held in the Algarve – where dancers last year scooped two prestigious awards, and where ‘dance fever’ has never been so high. This year’s event, to take place at the Arade pavilion (Parchal) between June 29 and July 5 will see as many as 32 countries taking part, and the Algarve’s own Lagos Dance School is busily preparing, in the hope that once again it will dance its way into the record books.
