Algarve KTM rider Ruben Faria took over the lead of the Dakar 2013 motorbike classification following the ninth and longest stage of the mythical race. The 38-year-old from Olhão had been making steady progress throughout the week before seizing his chance after erstwhile leader Daniel Casteau collided with a cow.
