Cyclists’ concern over bridge

A group of cyclists who regularly use the wooden footbridge linking Cabanas, through the salt flats, to Tavira are concerned about the structure of the bridge. Over the past 12 months, the bridge has become badly bowed and is a long way out of alignment. Organiser of the Tuesday morning cycle sojourns Andy Smith said: “We have noticed a marked deterioration of the bridge which was once straight and true but is now more like a switchback at the funfair!”
