A 40-year-old cyclist is in a serious condition in hospital today after careering off a clifftop footpath and falling 50 metres down an escarpment. According to rescuers, this is not the first accident that has occurred at the spot. TVI’s video showed how close to the cliff edge the path is. By all accounts, the cyclist is very lucky to be alive.
