Cut price shuttle

For those  with a few million dollars to spare after Christmas, NASA, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration Agency of the US government, has put three second-hand space shuttles up for sale.

However, any dreams of becoming a rocket man will not be realised as the shuttles will only be available for display in museums and educational institutes.

The shuttles are a snip at 42 million US dollars each and include six million dollars worth of air transportation costs although buyers must arrange their own road transport from their local airport.

Buyers need to move quickly though as one of the craft has already been reserved by the Smithsonian Museum in Washington.
