In the second round of the Portugal Cup, Second Division Desp.Aves were humbled at home by non-league Louletano (Loulé) 1-2.
Full-back Fausto scored both goals in the shock result of the day.
Farense (Faro) drew 1-1 away at Uniao da Serra after extra-time but won the penalty shoot-out 5-4.
The two teams now go into the draw for the third round where they will be joined by Premier Liga teams, including high flying Olhanense and newly promoted Portimonense.
The 3rd round takes place on the weekend of October 16 and 17.
