Summer in Tavira (Verão em Tavira) is a major cultural initiative that starts on July 8 and runs until September, featuring a series of events and activities aimed at people of all ages.
There will be an international theatre festival, concerts at Parque do Palácio and Praça da República, fado singing on the bandstand (coreto) every Wednesday, street art, cinema sessions at Convento do Carmo, exhibitions at Palácio da Galeria, antiques fairs and gastronomy focusing on the Mediterranean diet.
