Enjoy Algarve traditions at Alte this weekend during the 18th annual Alte Cultural Week running until May 1.
The event is considered one of the most popular traditional events in the Algarve and will include activities such as folklore groups, gastronomy, sports, musical entertainment and handicrafts.
Some of the highlights of the week include a medicinal plant workshop tomorrow (Saturday) from 10am at the Pólo Museológico, on Sunday a local produce market at Fonte Pequena and fado at Casa do Povo from 9.30pm, and on May 1 the popular annual folklore festival at Fonte Pequena.
