Following an Algarve Resident report last week about staff protests outside the CS Salgados Grande Hotel in Albufeira over delayed wages, the CS Group said on Tuesday that it is trying to resolve the situation “as soon as possible”.
Around 340 employees of the resort are said to be owed three months in salary payments by the group and protests have been ongoing.
Ricardo Afonso, Marketing Director for the CS Group, told the Algarve Resident: “For the moment, there is no additional information to release. All efforts are being made by the board members to resolve this situation as soon as possible.”
