A Portuguese man who had gone missing while on a Mediterranean cruise was found dead in the sea off the Corsica coast, France.
The victim, 46, was travelling aboard the MSC Divina last Saturday when he disappeared just before 1am. The authorities were immediately notified and an extensive air search ensued.
According to the maritime authorities in Toulon, an enquiry to determine the circumstances surrounding the man’s death has been opened.
