More than 3,000 athletes from around the world will be in Albufeira to take part in the 33rd Amendoeiras em Flor international cross country race this weekend.
The race is the oldest of its kind in Portugal and has categories for children and disabled athletes as well as both male and female professional runners.
The main women’s race will take place on Sunday (March 7) starting at 2.15pm, followed by the men’s race at 3pm.
