The Procurator-General of Portugal expressed his concern about the increase of professional and violent crimes commited in the country (read main story on this page).
When asked about the murder of a strip club owner in Lisbon on Sunday night, Pinto Monteiro, Procurator-General, said: “It’s not that violence has increased, there are not more cases being registered, what is happening is that the crimes are more aggressive and efficient.
“There are more professional deaths being carried out like executions.”
He also said: “The case of the murder in Lisbon is being investigated by the PJ and the department of legal action, DIAP.”
