A creative writing course by award-winning author Anne Aylor is taking place at the Holiday Inn Algarve in Armação de Pêra from October 27 to 29.
Due to the success of last year’s autumn workshop, the author is holding another ‘Write Now! In Portugal!’
The course will include techniques to start writing or develop work in progress and is suitable for all levels of writers, from absolute beginners to seasoned professionals. Novelists, short story writers, memoirists, poets and playwrights are all welcome.
Anne has been teaching creative writing for many years and runs year-round courses in London, as well as leading retreats in Spain, France, Ireland, Croatia, Portugal and the US.
Anne has published two novels, No Angel Hotel and The Double Happiness Company and in 2008, she was shortlisted for the Bridport Prize, one of the world’s largest short story competitions, and in 2011 for the Fish Short Story Prize.
Her stage play, Children of the Dust, won a playwrighting competition and was co-produced by the Soho Theatre and Theatre Warehouse, Croydon.
