Wine and art evening at Fine & Country Carvoeiro
An exhibition opening in Carvoeiro today (Friday, April 11), with wines from the Quinta do Francês winery near Silves, presents the work of local French artist Sylviana Loubatieres, at the Carvoeiro offices of Fine & Country estate agents.
The artist uses a range of media, with one of the most interesting being mirrors, applying paint and gold or copper leaf. Other media include oil on canvas, ceramic tiles and period dress costumes.
Sylviana, who has lived in the Algarve since 2004, has previously shown examples of her work here in the Algarve at the Arte Algarve gallery in Lagoa.
Algarve Resident readers are welcome to attend the opening event and the works will remain on display until the end of May.
