Creative dancing arrives in Lagoa

Lagoa-based cultural association Ideias do Levante is opening two creative dancing classes for children as from October 4. The lessons will be taught by Carla Nunes and aim to promote dancing while providing children with a fun activity.
The lessons will take place on Saturdays, from 3pm until 3.45pm (for children between three and five years old) and from 4pm until 4.45pm (six to nine years) at the association’s premises.
Teacher Carla Nunes is not only a qualified dancer – having taken Classic, Contemporary, Jazz and Oriental dance classes, among others -, but also an experienced athlete in rhythmic gymnastics and synchronised swimming.
With a degree from the Royal Academy of Dancing in London, Nunes has been teaching creative dancing in several schools since 2011.
The monthly fee for a weekly class costs €15 for the association’s members and €20 for non-members. To sign up, visit the website www.ideiasdolevante.net or call 282 010 080.
