Run by Volodymyr Sheychuk, restaurant Atalaia is located on the road of the same name in Lagos. The restaurant’s traditional Portuguese dishes delight its customers from different nationalities who visit the eatery every day.

With lunch menus costing between €8.5 and €10.5, the highlight dishes are the roasted gammon, the typical cozido à portuguesa (a Portuguese stew with several meats, sausages, cabbage, rice and potatoes), and the grilled sea bass, sea bream and salmon, among other dishes. There is also an à la carte menu available in the evenings, with specialities such as the Portuguese-style steak.
Atalaia is open every day for lunch and closes on Sunday nights.
