An outbreak of Covid-19 has been detected in Leiria’s Nossa Senhora da Encarnação old people’s home five days after residents had received their 3rd dose of Covid vaccine. Roughly 39 old people have been affected, as well as 10 members of staff. But the good news is that so far no-one has become so seriously ill that they have died. Two residents were admitted into hospital. A source has said: “A year ago (ie before the vaccines), this situation would have been so much worse”…
