Covid-19: Hotel group offers Tavira resort as quarantine or accommodation facilities

The AP Hotels & Resort group has announced that it has made its Cabanas Park Resort in Tavira available to the country’s health authorities to take in patients, serve as a quarantine zone or even provide accommodation to health professionals.

The announcement was made on Monday afternoon (March 16).

Says the group, the resort is “completely at the disposal of the national health board (DGS) and other health authorities, such as the Ministry of Health, to be used as they see fit”.

The decision was made in order to help regional entities control the Covid-19 outbreak.
