The bitter wrangle that sees ANTRAL, Portugal’s taxi drivers’ association, hounding its “unrestricted competitor” Uber from operating in Lisbon and Porto has taken a new turn this week with a court order forcing telecommunications operators to pull Uber’s website in Portugal forthwith. For the time being, anyone with an Uber App can still access the customer-friendly service, but the website no longer exists.
