The department of criminal investigation in Faro has detained a man and a woman, aged 40 and 39, both residents of the city, for involvement in the sex trade.
The detentions occurred after certain individuals were identified as beneficiaries of prostitution. Police raided two apartments in Faro and Patacão and seized a car and 15 mobile phones. Another man and three women, involved in prostitution, were also identified. One of these women, a Brazilian subject, was also detained for illegal entry into Portugal.
