After the success of Odeleite’s first Feira do Campo, it returns on April 27 with another line-up of “fun-filled” countryside activities in and around the small village of Furnazinhas.
The fair begins at 9.30am with an eight kilometre walk through the “cobbled streets” and nearby countryside, where hikers will be able to discover “the old copper mines”.
In the afternoon, visitors will also be able to enjoy donkey rides, as well as learn traditional techniques on how to cook bread in a wood burning oven, and how to make goat cheese.
Photographic exhibitions and street entertainment are also promised.
The event is organised by Odeleite parish council, alongside the Odiana and Alcance associations.
