Competitors from all over the Algarve as well as Évora, Beja and Milfontes took part in the closely contested final dressage event of the Equus Winter Series in Ourique recently.
A thrilling final saw Heather Dias just edge out Dorte Larsen to take the coveted Agrobs Pre Alpin Trophy by the narrowest of one per cent margin – the Equus Ourique riding centre has only been open for a year but has already put this event together as well as holding several clinics by top trainers.
