Country Cabins are new to the Algarve and are seeking to build uniquely designed high quality cabins. Their American style rustic cabins are warm and inviting, without the damp and chill of typical block construction, and modern materials are used to keep the cabin cool in the summer and warm in the winter. These cabins bring country living to the Algarve and are sympathetic to the Portuguese landscape and climate.

We can build an interesting luxury cabin to suit any budget or lifestyle, from luxury homes, children’s playhouses, offices, guesthouses or vacation retreats. We source our wood from specialist mills for higher quality timber, like oak, beech, robyina, spruce and larch, to build very solid homes, not garden sheds.
“We ensure that the exterior is completely watertight, allowing the owner to self-finish the interior, or we can oversee the completion of the inside to your satisfaction. Our ecological construction process avoids the use of chemicals treatments on the timber and includes low-impact/natural materials in the construction, as well as optional solar water heaters, composting toilets and bamboo flooring. In addition, we are starting to build wooden Geodesic Dome Homes, finished with cedar shingles ranging from four to 15 meters in diameter.
“With our vintage six-wheel drive troop carrier, we can build any cabin/dome, anywhere, with semi-vertical land being our speciality. The cabins have an optional sprinkler system to protect against fires. Prices start from around 800 euros per square metre for cabins under 20 square metres.”
