Carvoeiro’s annual Black & White beach party returns on June 17 to “(un)officially” open the summer season.

Carvoeiro’s Black & White Night has become one of the most anticipated events marking the beginning of the summer season. This year the large downtown party takes place four days before the summer solstice, on Saturday, June 17.

From 20:30 until 03:00, everyone is invited to join the summer fun in the town’s centre, with a street party spreading from the beach (Largo da Praia), along Rua do Barranco, and down the Estrada do Farol on Saturday.

The dress code is black and white, and entry is free.

As parking in the city centre is scarce, a bus will regularly circulate from the Rampa do Solférias, providing free transportation to the party between 20:00 and 4:00.
