An unusual but racy return to the 80s and 90s at the Algarve International Autodrome is less than a month away.
‘Acceleration 2014′ – billed as an “entirely new way to look at racing and music” – has already been presented in Lisbon by former Baywatch and Knight Rider star David Hasselhoff, the main spokesperson for the event and one of the biggest attractions in its line-up of musicians and performers
.
The festival will include a variety of races and entertainment and runs from April 25 to 27.
“This will be a unique event. Entertainment is guaranteed inside the race track and out,” the Hoff told journalists in Lisbon.
Hasselhoff also guaranteed that Kitt – the artificially-intelligent sportscar from his legendary TV show Knight Rider – would be making a special appearance at the event.
Other musicians include Rick Astley, Samantha Fox, Sabrina, 2 Unlimited and Haddaway.
