Today’s Council of Ministers is expected to lay out the country’s new ‘pandemic strategy’ (starting from next Monday), in the context of the milder, but highly transmissible Omicron variant. The fact that schools will be returning has been taken as a given, but the future of bars and discos is less certain. Indeed, everything points to them remaining closed for at least another two weeks.
