An exhibition by Portuguese artist Rodrigo Silvestre (pictured) is taking place at the Côrte-Real gallery, near Paderne, on October 24 and 25.
Rodrigo has drawn and painted from childhood. At 28, his success is based on his traditional skills of drawing and painting and having invented his own creative attitude.
Capturing the smoke filled dark café and bar society, the unforgettable images of the less ideal aspects of contemporary society will be featured in the exhibition.
Fine wines by Casa Ermelinda Freitas will be served throughout the weekend along with simple savouries. Opening times for the exhibition are 11am- 5pm on Saturday and Sunday.
On November 21 and 22, a Christmas Fayre will also be taking place in conjunction with the charity, Children of Cambodia.
An original oil painting by international artist John Lamonby will be featured along with mulled wines and Christmas savouries served.
