Coronation Street actor ‘Kirk’ and Dancing on Ice 2012 contestant, Andy Whyment, made a guest appearance at a pig roast event hosted by the Boiça family at Camping Albufeira on March 12.
Andy sang, socialised and mixed with all attending while Bob and Lyn Geary, Rally Stewards for The Camping and Caravan Club, organised the fundraising for the bombeiros, with the collection on the day raising €265.
The Boiça family donated a further €200 from the proceeds of the day and, at a previous beer fest, the ralliers raised a further €450 from a charity auction, making a total of €915 for the bombeiros.
