“Cool Manouche” and Betty M will be performing a concert for the Silves Rotary Club on Saturday, March 30, at 7.30pm to raise funds for the Silves Fire Brigade and the Rotary Education Fund.
Playing since 2016 at sold-out concerts all over the Algarve, this Gypsy Jazz Trio feature guitarists Ray Bartlett and Luís Fialho and renown bass player Rick Steffens. Joined by the vibrant Betty M with her violin and amazing vocals, classics such as “Dark Eyes”, “Minor Swing”, “All of Me”, “Nuage” and “Clair de Lune” are just a few of the songs which will enthrall the audience and have them tapping their feet in time to the music.
Held in the beautifully restored Teatro Mascarenhas Gregório in Silves, the atmosphere and music for the evening will take you back in time to the charm of Paris in the 1930s with the music of Django Reinhardt, Stochelo, Rosenberg and Tchavolo Schmitt.
You can hear some of their music on their “Cool Manouche” Facebook page and for tickets and further information, contact either
