The Sheraton Algarve Hotel (Pine Cliffs Resort) in Albufeira is hosting its second annual Cooking through Generations event with guest chef this year being Philippe Brun, the owner of Haut Allier Restaurant in Auvergne, France.
After completing formal training in a selection of Parisian establishments, Philippe took over the family business in 1983 where his cuisine was inspired by recipes from his mother and her best friend Rosalie, a renowned cook in their local village, who passed the original handwritten notes to him.
Philippe, who holds a Michelin star, will display his expertise and legacy in recipes handed down to him with a workshop, a five course dinner or a Sunday brunch.
The event is taking place this weekend (Saturday and Sunday).
